Due to coronavirus health risks we can't put on the Port Fairy Messiah in St John's this year. With 55 choristers, an orchestra and the organ this annual concert is an extraordinary slice
of South West Victoria culture.
So to keep the tradition alive we will be broadcasting the 2019 performance on December 28th @ 7-30pm, with the show staying online until 2 January.
The 2019 Messiah performance was one of the most exciting in its 38 years, and we are delighted to be able to share it with you.
A special bonus for 2020 is a virtual Hallelujah chorus, recorded this year, using the 2019 conductor, orchestra and soloists along with an all-comers choir.
What better way to finish this Covid 19 year than to join ‘The Messiah’ on line.
